It is clear to the BRC that a major international initiative is required in response to the needs of these Cambodian refugees who have been
tragic
affected by this conflict for so long. The BRC is ready to play its part
in encouraging public awareness on the issue and in promoting such an initiative in every possible way.
We would be most grateful to know your views on the situation and to hear what part you feel UNHCR will be able to play in contributing
to its resolution. We should also be pleased to know in what way you feel organisations such as ours could most effectively assist you in this task.
