I therefore recommend a contribution of £50,000 towards

HCR's Orderly Departure Programme. This sum can be found within the £5 million emergency aid earmarkings for 1985/86

for refugees and other assistance for the rest of the wo

(excluding Africa). If approved this response will bring

commitments for the rest of the world in the current financial

year to £4.993m leaving a balance of £0.007m. Details of our

commitments and proposed responses are set out in the annex.

Department, Finance Department, and South East Asia Department

and United Nations Department in the Diplomatic Wing.
