As in previous years, the Resettlement Section of the Division of Assistance would welcome the opportunity to hold discussions with members of the Permanent Missions in Geneva and suggests that these take place on 21 January 1986. As tentative items for the agenda, it is proposed to deal mainly with the resettlement problems of:

Indochinese refugees;

Iranian refugees; and

Disabled refugees.

General aspects of resettlement needs and priorities as well as technical problems, like processing arrangements, could be discussed as well.

Briefing notes for the meeting will be forwarded separately.

It would be greatly appreciated if participants could present a brief introductory statement at the meeting about the current resettlement activities of their respective countries and their planning for the future.
