Mr Evans took note of these various points and queries and undertook to let me know if any arose in his contacts with Chinese officials during his trip. I mentioned the PA'S office and Education and Manpower Branch as two obvious points of HKG contact, but Mr Evans seemed rather unsure as to whether he would have any time to make any official contacts in Hong Kong. know.
