Further to my letter of January, I confirm that it is our intention to apply this Convention without modification.

I gather that this will be the first occasion on which a declaration in respect of Hong Kong will be made under paragraph 35(4) of the ILO Constitution rather than paragraph 35(2). We welcome this but should appreciate your advice as to the correct procedure and format to be adopted in making the declaration.
