1. We consulted the non-metropolitan territories following the UK's denunciation of ILO Convention 26 (text attached), which was registered by the ILO on

25 July 1985.

I attach a copy of Hong Kong's 1372 reply and should be grateful for your advice on how we should reply to them, with regard to Convention 26 only at this stage, as it is particularly urgent.
