An Ordinance to amend the Medical Registration Ordinance.
Short title and
commencement.
Amendment of section 38. (Cap. 6.)
[1 January 1986]
Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Bankruptcy (Amendment) (No. 2) Ordinance 1985 and shall come into operation on 1 January 1986.

Section 38 of the principal Ordinance is amended—
(a) in subsection (1), by inserting after paragraph (ca) the following-
(Cap. 57.)
"(caa) any long service payment payable to an employee under the Employment Ordinance, not exceeding in respect of each employee $8,000;"; and
(b) in subsection (3), by inserting after “(ca),” the following—
"(caa),".

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Medical Registration (Amendment) Short title. Ordinance 1985.

Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is amended in the definition of "United Amendment of Kingdom or Irish diploma" by inserting after "eligible" the following----
"(or would make the holder thereof eligible if a national of a member state of the European Economic Community)".
