An Ordinance to amend the Labour Tribunal Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Labour Tribunal (Amendment) Ordi- nance 1986.
Amendment of section 39.

Section 39 of the principal Ordinance is amended
(a) in subsection (1) by deleting "at such rate as may be prescribed" and
substituting the following-
"at the rate specified in subsection (4)";
(b) in subsection (3) by deleting "at such rate as may be ordered by the tribunal"
and substituting the following-
"at the rate specified in subsection (4)”; and
(c) by inserting after subsection (3) the following-
(Cap. 336.)

"(4) The rate of interest specified for the purposes of subsections (1) and (3) shall be the rate fixed by the Chief Justice by notice in the Gazette under section 50 of the District Court Ordinance."
Rule 13 of the Labour Tribunal (General) Rules is revoked.

An Ordinance to amend the Mass Transit Railway (Land Resumption and Related
Provisions) Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Mass Transit Railway (Land Resump- Short title. tion and Related Provisions) (Amendment) Ordinance 1986.
2. Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is amended by inserting after the Amendment of definition of "Director" the following-
"eastern harbour crossing" means that part of the railway between the junction of King Yip Street and Kwun Tong Road in New Kowloon and Quarry Bay in the Island of Hong Kong;".

Section 3 of the principal Ordinance is amended by inserting after “ease- ments" wherever it appears the following-

"or rights".
4. Section 15(3) of the principal Ordinance is amended by inserting after "the Amendment of railway" the following--

"or the eastern harbour crossing".
The First Schedule to the principal Ordinance is amended under the heading “Losses for which compensation may be claimed” in items 11 and 12 by inserting after "the railway" wherever it appears the following-
"or the eastern harbour crossing".
