(b) the consideration obtained from various shops due for
tender over the next few years given the complications
caused by additional shops coming on-stream as a result
of commissioning Stage V of the Passenger Terminal
Building Redevelopment in 1988;
(c)
the impact of a possible change of policy in the
letting of money changing concessions.
In addition it is possible that the ANFA base could be
dramatically increased in the early 1990's in the event that
a major project to widen the runway promontory (at an
estimated capital cost of $1,000m) proceeds.
5.5 Finally the WG has not based its recommendation upon a
positive decision being taken to proceed with the
Replacement Airport Project. In the event such a decision
is taken the foregoing recommendations would require radical
review.
