Additional powers of the legislature of Hong Kong

2(1) The Governor of Hong Kong, by and with the advice and

consent of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong may

(a)

repeal or amend any enactment so far as it is part

of the law of Hong Kong;

(b) make laws having extra-territorial operation,

being an enactment or laws relating to -

(i) civil aviation

(ii) merchant shipping [, including admiralty jurisdiction].

[(2) The Governor of Hong Kong, by and with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong may repeal or amend [any

enactment so far as it is part of the law of Hong Kong, being an

enactment relating to admiralty jurisdiction] [the Admiralty

Jurisdiction (Hong Kong) Order 1985].
