HO Comments

Written 20.3.86 explaining that the petrol filling station would be affected by the construction of a transport interchange which will provide feeder services between Lam Tin Station and the outlying areas of Lei Yue Mun, Yau Tong, Sau Mau Ping and Lam Tin.

It is considered that resumption of the petrol filling station is more properly dealt with within the provisions of the Mass Transit Railway (Land Resumption and Related Provisions) Ordinance and it is therefore recommended that the objection, under the Roads (Works, Use and Compensation) Ordinance, be overruled.
