an inspector appointed under section 23A of the

Mass Transit Railway Corporation Ordinance has

certified the railway is fit for use; and

(b) the Director has issued to the Chief Secretary

and the Rail Company a certificate stating that

in his opinion the railway works are fit for use,

and the Chief Secretary shall determine that date as soon

as is practicable thereafter.

65. (1) Upon the rail operating date, the railway

shall for the purposes of the Mass Transit Railway

Corporation Ordinance become part of the Mass Transit

Railway and the provisions of that Ordinance shall apply

to the railway and its operation and the buildings and

structures appurtenant to the railway as if the railway and

those buildings and structures had been constructed by the

Mass Transit Railway Corporation for the Mass Transit

Railway.
