The Governor in Council may make regulations

for all or any of the following matters

(a) the provision by the Road Company of adequate,

efficient, safe and continuous facilities for the

passage of motor vehicles through the road tunnel

area;

(b)

the safety of persons using or employed in the

immersed tube and road tunnel area, and, without

prejudice to the generality of the foregoing in

relation to fire hazards, for preventing any

concentrations of carbon monoxide or other

dangerous gases.

(c) lighting, including emergency lighting, and

visibility in the road tunnel area;

(d) the noise level in the vicinity of any venti-

lation plant associated with the road tunnel;
