The proposed clearance limit (as shown on DLOSK'■ Drawing No, SKCP 58) was briefly discussed in the meeting. Mr. LAM Sin-hoi clarified that DLOSK and HD/C/JB were responsible for the clearance of the area that fell within the district boundary of Sai Kung.

In order to scrt out solutions to those problems arisen from the olcarange within the urban boundaries, Mr. CHU Yau-ming requested to have a meeting with DLOXE and HD/C/KT. The Chairman agreed to refer his request to DLOKE and HD/C/KT for consideration.

Mr. CHU Yau-ming said that the villagers and cultivators had a meeting among themselves on 1.10.1985 to discuss about the proposed road and tunnel works. He pointed out that the presence of a permanent motorable tunnel would seriously affect the "Pung Shui" of his village, seeing that the tunnel would be constructed right under the LED's "Chi Tong" and the temple of the villagers' patron god. strongly insisted that not only "Tun Fu"(s) (during the whole construction period) but also some permanent remedial "Fung Shui" installations would be required. The Chairman asked the villagers if they had any idea of the remedial "Fung Shui" installations in mind. Fr. CHU Yau-ming replied that he was seeking detailed advice of the geomancer on this matter, and, therefore, he urged the Government to sort out all the things before commencement of the works on site.
