Payment for all work carried out in Hong Kong by the Inspectorate in performance of any of the said duties shall be based on the following daily rates, which do not attract VAT and which shall be subject to amendment from time to time in accordance with the rates notified by the U.K. Government.

In addition to the said daily rates, the H.K. Government will provide office accommodation and services and will bear the cost of :-
(a)
travel between the United Kingdom and Hong Kong;
(b)
subsistence whilst in Hong Kong;
(c) all other minor disbursements.
