Amendment of

5.

Section 4 of the principal Ordinance is amended

section 4.

(a)

by deleting subsection (1) and substituting the

following

"(1)

The Corporation shall have power

(a)

to construct the North-west Railway;

(b)

to operate the railways for the use of

the public;

(c)

to extend and improve the railways;

(d)

(e)

to operate bus services within the

North-west Transit Service Area; and

to engage in such other activities, and

perform such other functions, as the

Governor may, after consultation with

the Corporation, permit or assign to it

by order published in the Gazette.";
