The aims of the Public Bus Services

Regulations 1986 are :

(1) to make regulations generally as to the

to include in the principal regulations provisions related to payment of fares franchised buses;

to rationalise the provisions of penalties for contraventions of the principal regulations; and

to empower the Commissioner for Transport to designate an area of road to be a bus stop and to delineate a bus stop by means of a road marking.

amendments in the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) (Amendment) Regulations 1986 are consequential.
