Explanatory Note
These regulations make miscellaneous amendments
to the Public Bus Services Regulations.

The main amendments in regulation 2 insert
definitions of "pass", "passenger" and "ticket" in
regulation 2 of the principal regulations.
3.
Regulation 3(b) amends regulation 3 of the
principal regulations to empower the Commissioner of
Transport to delineate a bus stop by means of road markings.
The other amendments in regulation 3 are formal.

Regulation 4 inserts new provisions relating to
the payment of fares.
5. Regulation 5 amends the wording in one of the
offence provisions of regulation 10(2).
6. Regulation 6 inserts a new regulation 13A dealing
extensively with the general conduct of passengers.
7.
Regulation 7 substitutes a new regulation 25 to
create 2 levels of offences.
8.
Regulation 8 inserts a Schedule prescribing the
form of the road markings for a bus stop.
