A press release on the continuing policy will issued after Members' consideration of this paper. addition, Transport Department officials will explain continuing policy at a routine meeting of each District Board Transport & Traffic Committee, So as to enhance the public's appreciation of the principles underlying the preparation of the bus and ferry route development programmes.

The publicity will emphasize that the existing policy on co-ordinating transport has been affirmed and will continue to be adopted, and that no radical changes will be made.
