Management of the Nuclear Plant and Staff Training
The Daya Bay Plant will be run by the Guangdong Nuclear
Power Joint Venture Company Ltd (GNPJVC). According to the conditions set by the Joint Venture Agreement, the GNPJVC should be managed jointly by personnel from China and Hong Kong. The strength, duties and quality of the staff from both parties have been clearly stipulated in the Agreement.
According to the report submitted by the GNPJVC to the Nuclear Power Bureau of the Ministry of Nuclear Industry, the operation regulations, regular inspection and maintenance system etc. of the Daya Bay Plant have all been stipulated in explicit terms in the relevant documents provided by the foreign companies
involved in the Project.
