FUTURE OF HONG KONG: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY REGIME
Following receipt of a copy of Mr Sage's minute of 24 September 1985 about the visit to the UK of Mr Gleeson, the Registrar General of Hong Kong, we wrote again to Hong Kong asking for their thoughts on the future of patents and trade marks in the Territory after 1997. I enclose a copy of their reply, together with a copy of a a report on the future development of the patent system in Hong Kong and other papers.
