An encouraging account of help by, eg. the Nordics, the Netherlands and Australia to meet LDC needs was given.

13. The next regular meetings will be held in May (probably 11 and 12) and on 9 and 10 November 1987.
COMMENT
14.
This is a business-like Committee, greatly helped by the technical contacts and understandings developed in the Customs *Council Cooperation* and bilaterally. Problems with Brazil and India
are soluble provided such countries do not use the Agreement
to over-play LDC disadvantages. The outcome on PSI was satisfactory and we should ensure that the EC makes an input to the further discussion in order to keep the pressure up. The Committee should be able to function still during the Round with the added stimulus that that will give.
