GATT: ARRANGEMENTS IN RESPECT OF HONG KONG

1.

I attach, for your records, a number of documents issued by the GATT containing communications from the delegation of Hong Kong. These concern arrangements in respect of Hong Kong's accession to the following codes: Anti-Dumping, Customs Valuation, Government Procurement, Import Licensing, Technical Barriers to Trade, Subsidies and Countervailing; the final one concerns the protoca extending the multifibre arrangements. In respect of all these codes the communication from Hong Kong is simply to record their willingness to continue to accept and to participate in work of the Codes, agreements and protocol.
