36 Mr Eric Deakins (Walthamstow): To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Com- monwealth Affairs, what discussion he has had in the European Economic Community and the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade about the international trading status of Honk Kong after 1997; and if he will make a statement.
