ASIAN DEVELOPMENT BANK (EXTENSION OF LIMIT ON GUARANTEES) ORDER 1986

Mr Frost was advised yesterday that the debate on this draft Order is now expected to be held in Committee at 10.30 am next Wednesday morning, 22 January. He was asked to submit any amended draft opening speech and notes for supplementaries by close of play today.

of the current exchange rate between the US dollar and sterling, as well as some necessary textual updating;

Notes for Supplementaries, sections A and B revised as necessary;

Other supporting material previously submitted.

Hong Kong Department advise that the existing draft notes on the General Hong Kong Questions in section C of the Notes for Supplementaries need complete revision. They expect to provide them early on Friday. No doubt this will take account of today's debate on the draft Hong Kong Nationality Order in Council. A revised index will be provided subsequently.
