An Ordinance to amend the Community Chest of Hong Kong Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. (1) This Ordinance may be cited as the Community Chest of Hong Kong (Amendment) Ordinance 1986.

(2) Section 3 shall come into operation on the commencement of Part IV of the Banking Ordinance 1986.

Section 8(d) of the principal Ordinance is amended--

(a) by inserting after "any bank in the Colony or elsewhere" the following—

"or any deposit-taking company registered or licensed under the (Cap. 328.) Deposit-taking Companies Ordinance"; and

(b) by deleting "the Colony" wherever it occurs and substituting in each place

the following-

Section 8(d) of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting "Deposit- taking Companies Ordinance" and substituting the following-
