Import prices of capital goods and of consumer goods recorded significant increases during the six months ending November 1985, as well as during the six months ending May 1986. Import prices of major end-use categories, except fuels, also increased during the six months ending May 1986. The decrease in the import prices of fuels was substantial during the same period.
