My Honourable Friend paid a brief visit to Hong Kong on
23 and 24 January following his visit to China between 18 and 23 January. During his stopover in Hong Kong [he] held useful discussions with the Governor, the Executive Council and the Unofficial members of the Executive and Legislative Councils.
