MR RENTON'S MEETING WITH THE GOVERNOR OF HONG KONG

Before he sees the Governor tomorrow, the Secretary of State may like to have a summary of Mr Renton's talk with him this afternoon. Mr Galsworthy and I were also present.

(e) Mr Luce's visit. The Governor agreed with Mr Renton's view that Mr Luce should not give a press conference during his 24 hour stay in Hong Kong on 24/25 April.
