Question: To ask the Secretary of

the Secretary of State for Foreign

Commonwealth Affairs when he expects to publish the

Annual Report to Parliament on Hong Kong.

Answer: The second Annual Report will be published

as a White Paper in the miscellaneous series. It will

cover the period from November 1985, the end of the period

covered by the first Report, to the end of

this year. It u hoped to lay it before the House early

early in 1987.
