The Centre Daily News: Some community groups and DB members are planning to set up a monitoring group to ensure that the BLCC will work in
accordance with its
constitution in the future.
The BLCC executive committee announced that Siu Sin-bor and Ma Lik are named deputy-
secretary general of the BLCC to take care of the day to day operation of the BLCC office.
BLCC member Lee Kai-ming: Former Chief Secretary Sir Jack Cater, former Secretary for Home Affairs Denis Bray and HK Bank chairman Michael Sandberg will be among the 20 people recommended to become advisers to the BLCC. The Financial Daily reported that Mr Bill Brown of the Standard Chartered Bank and representatives of
several foreign banks will also be on the list.
A survey conducted by the Kowloon City concern office on the Basic Law: Over 10 per cent of the 944 respondents have
never heard of the term
