The executive committee of BLCC decided at a meeting today to set up eight sub-groups to study different areas of Basic Law drafting. The eight sub-groups will respectively look at the structure of the Basic Law, political system, HK people's rights and obligations, foreign affairs, economy and finance, judiciary and law, the relationship between the HK SAR and the central government, and matters related to culture, technology, education and religion. BLCC members will decide

on their own which sub-groups to join.
