(report) BLDC chairman Ji Pengfei says in a closing speech that there is a need to improve communications between the BLDC and the BLCC.
HK Economic Journal: It notes that the draft
structure of the Basic Law does not include a provision in the Joint Declaration that the chief executive is to be appointed through election or consultation. This demonstrates the flexibility of China's policy towards HK.
