(report) A release issued by the NCNA HK branch: Mr Lu Ping has sought local views on a wide basis during his visit here.

Ming Pao: Mr Lu Ping's visit has improved the dialogue between Peking and HK. In the future, other BLDC members in China will visit HK in groups and BLDC and BLCC members in HK will go to Peking for an exchange of opinions.

Sing Tao Jih Pao: Mr Lu Ping has caused some anxieties as a result of comments he made, such as those on the term "HK people ruling HK."

The Express: Even if the Basic Law will carry legal definations of "HK people" and "HK people ruling HK," people should not hold out unduly high

Ta Kung Pao: Mr Lu Ping's HK visit is a success. The delegation should reflect to the BLDC objectively the views collected here.

Tin Tin Daily News: There are too few members in Lu Ping's delegation and therefore there may be no

expert in some particular field.

Legco Unofficial Martin Lee: He is unhappy that Mr Lu Ping chose to meet only some of the groups while other groups, such as the Bar Association and Law Society, were only received by members of his team.
