BLCC secretary general Mao Junnian: The BLCC is likely to endorse member Xu Ximen's suggestion for the formation of a forum group so that members can exchange their views on the Basic Law in the form of seminars and debates.
Tin Tin Daily News: It disagrees with suggestions that a blueprint of the Basic Law should be worked out and given to the HK Government for reference in carrying out political reforms during the transition. Such a suggestion, if adopted, will reduce the HK Government to a lame duck administration.
