Transitional provisions concerning powers.
PUBLIC HEALTH AND URBAN SERVICES (AMENDMENT)
(b) entered into by the Director of Regional Services on behalf of the Govern- ment as the Authority under section 107 of the Public Health and Urban Services Ordinance and which relates to the right to operate an amenity at a public pleasure ground,
shall be deemed to have been entered into on behalf of the Regional Council accordingly.
(2) In this section “amenity” includes the sale of refreshments, the erection of tents for hire to the public, the erection of a temporary bathing structure for use as changing rooms, the sale or hire of recreational equipment and the hire of chairs.
34. Any power vested by the principal Ordinance or any subsidiary legislation made thereunder in a public officer and exercisable by him or his delegate immediately before 1 April 1986, shall, until 30 April 1986, continue to be so exercisable as if this Ordinance had not been enacted.
