In the House on 24 March you asked for tabulated results of the recent elections in Hong Kong, listing in declining order the total number of votes cast for each candidate, the percentage of votes cast in each case for each candidate in the relevant seat, the turnout in the seat, and which candidate was, and was not, elected. I replied that in the time available it had not been possible to obtain from the Governor of Hong Kong the information you had requested. I undertook to write to you with details as soon as possible.
We have now received from Hong Kong detailed summaries of the results and turnout in the Urban Council and Regional Council elections held on 6 March. enclose a copy of these summaries. I have also arranged for a copy to be placed in the library of the House.
