the question) I welcome the proposals from the Government

Can the Go-tamment for abating the noise nuisance caused by false sounding of alarms but, tell

this Council when the options will be adopted?

Attorney General: Sir, I cannot say when the options will be adopted. As I

indicated they will first be considered in the Fight Crime Committee; the

advantages and disadvantages of each will be discussed and when one or other

option is preferred then I would hope it would be not long before the Government

could introduce any necessary legislation.
