Issue of Fixed Pitch (All Classes) Hawker Licence - Application for Review of Decision by Mr. NGAN Chiu-yum (paper MST(ST)/17786)

(Mr. NGAN Chiu-yam was invited into the meeting at 11.50 a.m.)

NOTED: Mr. Ngan's explanation that he had been selling eggs for over 30 years assisting in stall No. 48 & 49 although he was not the registered assistant of both stalls; his point that the livelihood of his whole family depended on selling eggs and he asked for Council's compassionate consideration.

(After being advised that he would be informed of Council's decision in due course, Mr. Ngan left at 11.57 a.m.)

AGREED to recommend to the Markets and Street Traders Select Committee that the department's decision to refuse the issue of a Fixed Pitch (A11 Classes) Hawker Licence to Mr. NGAN Chiu-yum be upheld.
