The Officer-in-charge, Hawker Licensing Unit, Sai Yee Street (sic).
Translation of Appendix VIII
636 Sau Mau Ping Estate, 6/F, Block 26, Kowloon

Dear Sir,
I am the licence holder of stall no. 38, Mut Wah Street (sic). On 30 Apr., I went to the Hawker Licensing Unit, Sai Yee Street to renew my licence but was told that there were some problems with my licence. The staff there refused to renew my licence and told me to approach the Hawkers and Markets Section of the Kwun Tong District Office of the Urban Services Department. I only learned the case after hearing the explanation given by the officer-in- charge of the Kwun Tong District Office. I hawk in the street because there are no customers coming to my stall at Mut Wah Street. Besides, being the head of my household, I have to support my 7-member family by doing so. Thus, I have no alternative but sell in street the goods stored in my stall. I hope you will consider my case and forgive me for doing so. I should be grateful if you could renew my licence.
Yours faithfully,
(Signed)
CHENG Lung-ngan
