Repeal and replace the Hong Kong Arts Centre Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the

advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

PART I

PRELIMINARY

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Hong Kong

Arts Centre Ordinance 1986 and shall come into operation

on 1 April 1986.

In this Ordinance, unless the context otherwise

"Board" means the Board of Governors of the Centre

established under section 8

"Chairman" means the Chairman of the Board appointed or

elected under section 10 or the Deputy Chairman of

the Board when acting under that section as the

Chairman;

"Centre" means the Hong Kong Arts Centre referred to

in section 3;

"Chief Executive" means the Chief Executive of the Centre

appointed under section 11 or any person appointed

under that section to act as Chief Executive;
