(a)
To continue to liaise with the goldsmith and jewellery trade associations with the assistance of the Crime Prevention Bureau (CPB) with a view to achieving adequate standards of security in respect of the premises classified as having "inadequate" security standards; and
(b) to continue to study the question of the
retail trade keeping records of purchases and sales of gold and other high value items on a voluntary or compulsory basis and to continue to
liaise on this question with the
goldsmith and jewellery associations and the CPB.
