The Government announced today that
Mr. Michael Thomas, C.M.G., Q.C., Attorney General,
has accepted an invitation to serve for another
two years following the expiry of his current contract
on 23 May 1986. Mr. Thomas, aged 52, was appointed
to his present post in May 1983.
