Individual Selection

While the selection of households is by random sampling, the selection of an individual within each household is by quota sampling such that the sample units correspond to the population structure (aged 15-64) by sex and age as follows :

Interviewers are then assigned with the selected telephone numbers together with a quota sheet to make contacts. If a household does not possess any member within the quota requirements, the household will be treated as non-eligible and no interview will be conducted for this household.
