Question: In the 1987 Review of Representative Government in Hong Kong, will full consideration be given to establishing a further three functional constituencies for :

(a) the tourist industry;

(b) the media; and

(c) the accounting profession?

Sir,

I must refer Mr. Hilton Cheong-leen to the 1984 White

Paper on the Further Development

. of

Representative

Government in Hong Kong which, referring to the earlier

Green Paper says that a Review should take place in 1987

with a

a view to deciding among other things the possible

mix of members elected by the electoral college and the

functional constituencies. Sir, the request made by Mr.

Hilton Cheong-leen is covered by that statement.
