Please tell the MFA that the Secretary of State accepts with pleasure Wu's invitation to Lunch on 23 May at the Chinese Embassy in Brussels. It would be helpful if you could establish quickly the exact timing of the proposed meeting. (Strictly for your own information, we plan to arrange at least one other meeting in Brussels for the Secretary of State, so as to reduce the risk that the meeting with Wu might send the wrong signals to Hong Kong or elsewhere.)
