Oxford. Army Service, Rifle Brigade (Captain) 1943-47. Joined John
Swire and Sons in 1949. Appointed as Member of Hong Kong
Legislative Council in 1974 and Executive Council in 1977. Retired
as Company Executive and Chairman of John Swire (Hong Kong) Ltd in
1980. Subsequently appointed as Financial Secretary Hong
Government in 1981. Retired in mid-1985.
