Mr CHAN Yue-yan, Peter
Aged 53.
Joined the civil service as
a Surveyor of Ships in 1962. He has served in a variety of posts in the Marine Department. He was promoted to Assistant Director of Marine in 1982, to Deputy Director in 1983 and to his present rank of Director in 1984.
Mr G A Higginson
Aged 43.
Joined the civil service as Inspector of Police in 1966. He was appointed to the Administrative Service in 1968. He has held a number of senior posts including Clerk of Councils, District Officer (Sha Tin), Assistant Financial Secretary, Private Secretary to the Governor and Deputy Secretary for Economic Services. He was promoted to his present rank of Administrative Officer Staff Grade B in 1982.
