already here. These points do not suggest that Britain has been ungenerous in its response to the refugee problem. We are at present preparing our reply to the Select Committee and it would be wrong for me to hint at what we are likely to do; but I can assure you that we will bear in mind the point you have made about encouraging other countries to take more.
