Ca 6.3 Refugee Involvement at BRC Meetings

Gordon Barclay (Gordon Barclay Vietnam Fund) said that he had recently attended the BRC's General Meeting where refugees had been present. The refugee contribution had been very interesting, and many had felt the BRC was not representative of refugee groups. Martin Barber (BRC) said that the question of refugee involvement with the BRC was to be a major agenda item at the meeting of the Executive Council on 19 September. The views expressed by members of the Asia Committee were noted.
